*Machining Plastic:  We’ve developed a machining process that allows us to machine your molded plastic parts.  This process was developed to eliminate the need for multiple molding tools, i.e. in the case of molded plastic arm rests.  If you need a center, a left and a right arm ordinarily you need three separate tools.  Our process allows you to build one tool (the center) and we will machine lefts or rights as you need them.  There are many opportunities to save you tooling dollars.

Finishing: At D&B we are Woodworkers who have exceptional finishing capability.  We have the best finishers in the area so you will get an exceptionally finished product. The trouble with most finishers is, they are finishers.  In other words, they are not Woodworkers.  They may know finishing but they don’t necessarily know wood machining, and sanding.  And without a properly machined and sanded product, along with a finisher that knows the difference, you risk rework, stripping or losing the product altogether.

Mortise and Tenon Joinery

Mortise and Tenon Joinery:

Mortise & Tenon joints have been used for centuries by woodworkers because of their combination of superior strength and simplicity. This type of joinery has been time tested to show much greater joint strength over dowel and/or biscuit joints.

Contact D&B if you would like to increase the strength of your company’s furniture joints.
